We are looking for an experienced project administration officer to join our Digital Skills @ Work team. The Digital Skills @ Work project is aimed at enhancing higher level digital skills in the workplace for people who live or work in Neath Port Talbot.
This position is to assist with the delivery of our new Digital Skills @ Work project funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund. #SPF
The Digital Skills @ Work project will address the Advanced / Specialist IT skills training need for people by providing fully funded training opportunities for short “just-in-time” courses to help them progress in their careers, remain in the labour market or change jobs. The project will offer training in office productivity software and more specialist IT skills around coding, Graphic Design / Data Visualization, Computer Aided Design and Digital Marketing. Courses will be hands-on, tutor led in a virtual (online) format to suit learners’ needs. All delegates will have the option to achieve accredited qualifications and bespoke non-accredited certification.
The purpose of the job is to support Shared Prosperity Fund Project Managers with general administration duties to run the programme.
This is a full-time or a part time office-based position in central Swansea.
The position is a 8-month contract running from 1st May 24– 31st December 24.
Full time equivalent £26,000 pa.
We will consider job sharing.
Person Specification
No specific qualifications required. Must have good level of numeracy and literacy.
Experience
Ideally doing a similar job now. Relevant experience in administration and marketing would be an advantage.
